Import Cards
Move large card sets into Cardary with structured batch import workflows.Batch import is best when your source already has a clear table structure.
Supported file types
Cardary supports spreadsheet imports from .xlsx and .csv. Legacy .xls files should be converted to .xlsx or .csv first.
Prepare the file
- Use the first row as a complete header row.
- Keep one card per row.
- Keep columns consistent across the file.
- Remove empty headers and malformed cells.
- Import a small sample before a large deck.
Mapping fields
Map source columns to deck fields you actually want to review. Do not import every source column just because it exists. Extra context can make cards harder to grade.
Media and resources
If your cards rely on images or audio, verify that resource paths and attachments import as expected. Media-heavy imports may require CardaryPlus limits or more sync time.
After import
Open several imported cards, check formatting and media references, then run a short review. If the sample is noisy, fix the file and import again before scaling.
