CardaryPlus
Understand CardaryPlus limits, paid features, restore behavior, and when an upgrade is useful.CardaryPlus is for larger libraries, media-heavy decks, OCR, AI-assisted workflows, and advanced study routines. The app interface is the source of truth for the current entitlement and prices.

Features That Commonly Need Plus
Plus is most useful when you:
- manage several active subjects;
- import large
.xlsx,.csv, or Anki collections; - use images, audio, files, or other attachments;
- need OCR for text, questions, formulas, or card recognition;
- use AI-assisted card creation or explanation heavily;
- create decks for other learners;
- keep long-term libraries synced across devices.
Some actions may show a Plus requirement only when you try to exceed a free limit or use a gated feature.
Purchases, Restore, and Devices
Purchases are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. Cardary verifies purchase state and applies the entitlement to your account or device state according to the app flow.
When reinstalling or changing devices:
- sign in with the account you use for Cardary;
- make sure the device is using the correct Apple or Google store account;
- use the restore flow in the app;
- wait for entitlement refresh;
- sync decks and resources.
Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds
Apple and Google handle billing, renewal, cancellation, trials, and refunds. Deleting the app or deleting your Cardary account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.
Use the store subscription settings to cancel renewal. Use Apple or Google support flows for refund requests. See Subscriptions for policy details.
Before Upgrading
Upgrade is most valuable after you know your workflow. If you are new:
- create a small deck first;
- test review behavior;
- import a sample file;
- check whether media and OCR are truly needed;
- estimate the number of decks and cards you will maintain.
If Plus Does Not Appear Active
Check:
- the app is online;
- you are signed in to the expected Cardary account;
- the device uses the correct Apple or Google account;
- restore purchase has been run;
- the subscription is still active in the store;
- the app has finished refreshing account state.
