Does Cardary Support Spaced Repetition?

Yes. Cardary uses a spaced-repetition scheduler with new, learning, review, relearning, completed, and suspended states. Answer grades such as missed, hard, good, and easy guide the next due time.

Which Deck Type Should I Start With?

Use Universal if you are unsure. Use Simple for front/back cards, Vocabulary for language terms, Notebook for source-based notes, and Quiz Set for assessment-style questions.

Which Import Files Are Supported?

Spreadsheet import supports .xlsx and .csv. Legacy .xls files should be converted first. Anki import supports .apkg packages.

Why Should I Import a Small Sample First?

A sample reveals field mapping, media, formatting, category, tag, and review problems before hundreds of cards depend on the same mistake.

What Happens If I Miss Reviews?

The queue grows, but cards are not lost. Resume with due reviews, reduce new cards, and avoid resetting the deck unless you intentionally want to restart.

What Syncs Between Devices?

Deck content, preferences, categories, tags, notes, learning schedules, learning logs, quiz logs, and resources can sync through the deck sync flow.

Why Is Media Missing on Another Device?

The deck metadata may have synced before resource download finished. Keep the app open on a stable network and check again after resource sync completes.

Do I Need CardaryPlus?

No for basic study. Plus matters when you need higher deck/card limits, attachments, OCR, media-heavy decks, AI-assisted workflows, large imports, or larger long-term libraries.

How Are AI and OCR Handled?

AI prompts and relevant card/deck context may be processed by Firebase AI / Google Gemini. OCR images are uploaded to Cardary servers and may be processed by OCR providers. Review generated output before saving, studying, publishing, or sharing. See AI & OCR.

Can I Share Decks Publicly?

Yes when the deck is accurate, lawful, and safe to share. Remove private information, copyrighted material you cannot share, broken media, and unreviewed AI/OCR output first.

Can I Use Cardary Offline?

You can study and edit local content offline, but sync, account changes, purchases, AI, OCR, cloud decks, and resource upload/download need network access.

How Do I Delete My Account?

Use the account deletion flow in the app or contact support. Export anything you want to keep first. Store subscriptions must still be cancelled through Apple App Store or Google Play. See Account Deletion.

How Do I Get Support?
